This position is designed for junior educators or recent graduates eager to begin their teaching career in international education. The role provides classroom experience under the supervision of a Head Teacher, combined with training on the Cambridge curriculum to prepare the candidate for a future teaching position.Reporting to: Head of SecondaryQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field.Interest in developing a teaching career within Secondary international education.Some experience in tutoring, classroom support, or secondary-level academic assistance (preferred but not required).Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies and related areas (e.g., Economics or Entrepreneurship).Fluent in English; knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum is an advantage but not mandatory.Responsibilities Teaching & Learning SupportAssist in planning and delivering Secondary-level lessons in Business Studies under the guidance of the Head Teacher.Co-teach and gradually assume responsibility for Secondary classroom instruction as training progresses.Support students in business-related projects, case studies, and exam preparation, ensuring engagement and understanding.Help integrate innovative teaching approaches, including technology and real-world business applications.Training & DevelopmentParticipate in structured training sessions on the Cambridge Secondary curriculum and school teaching standards.Observe experienced Secondary teachers and reflect on best practices in teaching and learning.Engage in feedback sessions with mentors and academic leaders to improve teaching performance.Take part in workshops, seminars, and professional development tailored to Secondary education.Student Engagement & Classroom EnvironmentAssist in fostering a positive, respectful, and stimulating Secondary learning environment.Support classroom management, lesson preparation, assessments, and feedback for students.Encourage Secondary students to think critically, problem-solve, and collaborate in business-related academic tasks.School & Department ContributionContribute to departmental planning and Secondary curriculum discussions.Assist with Secondary extracurricular activities, business clubs, or academic events.Demonstrate commitment to the school’s mission, values, and safeguarding responsibilities.Date d'expiration27/09/2025
